Gary Rapoport is the owner and operator of E-Cool of Florida, which sells and leases industrial evaporative cooling units and fans for a variety of businesses, including bars and restaurants as well as agricultural applications.
They also sell smaller units to homeowners for low-cost and efficient cooling for patios and lanais.
E-Cool of Florida is the exclusive Florida manufacturer’s representative for Hess Aire Products Inc., and also represent SplitAir products.
Gary has extensive experience in this industry, and his family has a long history in Florida. Gary grew up in Miami and is the grandson of deceased mobster and accountant Meyer Lansky, which has made his life “a little more interesting.”
Gary was quoted in a Tampa Bay Times article from 2016 saying, “Meyer was a tremendous influence on me. He was a driver for me to learn a lot and get educated. He wanted us to have the same enthusiasm for reading and following your interest as he had.” (You can read that article here).
